Square
Rulers
Helpful tips for using your Square Rulers
● Square quilt blocks and fussy-cut fabrics quickly and
easily using just your rotary
cutter. No need to mark or trace.
● 1/4" seam allowance markings on all four sides of ruler;
no flipping or turning of ruler.
● Pin-hole in center of ruler to anchor quilt square or layered
fabrics.
● 45° markings for perfect centering.
● Unique three-color printing: Black = 1" and 1/2", Teal
= 1/4" and Magenta = 1/8".
To square quilt block or fussy-cut fabric
the same size as square ruler:
● Align and square center of ruler with center of quilt block or
center of fabric. Trim excess fabric from four sides. (Image 1)
To square up quilt block of another size:
● Beginning with top and right edge, locate desired block size
markings on ruler. Place and square this marking in the center of quilt
block. (Image 2)
● Trim excess fabric from top and right sides of quilt block noting
the 1/4" seam allowance is accounted for in ruler's teal border.
● Without flipping or rotating ruler, locate block size markings
on bottom and left sides of ruler. Place and square this marking in the
center of quilt block. (Image 3)
