Our wooden thread racks are made of fine hardwood. These thread racks are available in a natural wood finish that can be stained, painted or left in its natural state.

Do the racks hang on the wall or stand on a tabletop?

June Tailor has two styles of spool and cone racks. Some racks contain legs that can be extended from the rack to stand on a tabletop or they can be folded into the rack to be hung on a wall. June Tailor also produces thread racks that do not contain legs and are designed to be hung on the wall.

How do I hang thread racks that are not designed to stand on a tabletop?

We recommend using two triangular hang hooks, the same that would be used for pictures, affixed to the back of the rack. You could also drill two holes in the back of the racks to hang the rack on nails. Or the simplest method, two long, strong nails (or brackets would work) affixed to the wall and hang the horizontal cross bar of the rack over it.
